Golden Sands

Zlatni Pyasatsi or Golden Sands seaside resort is the largest in the northern part of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, 18 km to the north of Varna. The beach stretches for over 4 km and reaches up to 100 m in width. The mineral springs, as well as the marvellous woods make Golden Sands the pearl of the Bulgarian coast. The resort started in 1957 and today it features over 60 hotels and villas.
Numerous restaurants serve traditional dishes, as well as European cuisine. The night venues include a number of casinos, discotheques, bars and nightclubs. All water sports can be practiced here under the supervision of qualified instructors – tennis, mini golf, horse riding, paragliding, cycling, bowling, diving. There are swimming pools with mineral water, volleyball and basketball fields, riding ground.
