Nessebur
 The Byzantine town of Nessebur is one of the most fascinating places along the Black Sea coast. Situated on a picturesque rocky peninsula the museum-town of Nessebur possesses an atmosphere one cannot find anywhere else on the coast. Over 40 churches and basilicas from the Byzantine Empire are scattered all over the town within the remains of the mediaeval fortress walls.
