Rozhen Monastery
Rozhen Monastery is a small austere 12 century monastery, the only one in Bulgaria which remained unharmed during the Turkish domination. Although the monastery has survived many fires and lootings, it possesses a splendid exhibition of carved iconostases, stained windows, icons and frescoes. |
