Sveshtari Thracian Tomb

Sveshtari Thracian Tomb is located in a declared archaeological reserve. Some 2300 years ago a master tomb of a Thracian King was erected by stonemasons. The tomb is a remarkable monument of Thracian art on present-day Bulgarian lands. The perfect architecture, the decoration rich in sculptural ornaments – rosettes, stylized ox heads, garlands, colonnades, the vibrant paintings were the good grounds for Sveshtari Tomb to be included in the World Register of Historical Sites.
